These terms govern your use of Rankeb's website and services. By subscribing to a Rankeb care plan or asking us to build your website, you agree to the following. We've written these in plain language on purpose, because we'd rather you actually read them.
Rankeb designs, builds and maintains websites for St. Lucian businesses, and provides local SEO and digital marketing support. The website build is provided at no design fee and no build fee when you subscribe to one of our monthly care plans. A care plan covers your hosting, domain management, security, backups, content updates and ongoing support, as described on our pricing page.
Care plans are billed monthly in Eastern Caribbean Dollars (EC$), starting from EC$349 per month, beginning when your website goes live. Because we invest the full cost of designing and building your website upfront, care plans carry a minimum term of six (6) months from your launch date unless your signed agreement says otherwise. After the minimum term, your plan continues month to month and you may cancel at any time with thirty (30) days' written notice (email or WhatsApp is fine).
Founding clients with a signed agreement that waives the minimum term may cancel at any time as set out in that agreement. Where a signed Website & Care Plan Agreement exists between us, that agreement applies alongside these terms, and if the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
Your website is hosted and managed on Rankeb's hosting infrastructure as part of your care plan. This is what allows us to build at no upfront cost and keep your site fast, secure and up to date without you lifting a finger.
Care plans are billed monthly in advance. Where your signed agreement includes a build fee or deposit, the deposit is due before work begins and becomes non-refundable once design work has started, since that time cannot be recovered. If a monthly payment is more than seven (7) days late, we may pause work and temporarily take your website offline until the account is brought up to date. We'll always contact you before doing this.
You agree to provide accurate information, and to supply the content we need to build your site (text, images, logos, hours, prices) within a reasonable time. Delays in providing content extend the delivery timeline. You confirm you have the right to use all content you give us, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
Every build includes up to two (2) rounds of revisions before launch. Your website goes live only after you've approved it in writing (WhatsApp or email counts). Small content updates after launch, like hours, prices, menu items and photos, are included in your care plan.
We build fast, professional, search-friendly websites and actively work on your visibility, but we cannot guarantee a specific Google position, traffic level or business result. These depend on many factors outside anyone's control, and you should be suspicious of anyone who promises otherwise.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankeb's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business opportunities.
These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Saint Lucia.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version always lives at this page, and material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated directly.
